EPL Best XI After GW 8

Below are EPL Best XI After GW 8. Do you agree with this? you can come up with your own list.

Alisson Becker

The new Liverpool goalkeeper have really contributed to the team and helped the team. He’s presently the premier league goalkeeper who has most clean sheets(5) together with Man City’s Ederson who is a rival in the premier league xi with Alison edging him with number of saves(18), five more than Ederson.

There’s no doubt he is living to expectations, regarding the huge sum of money used to complete his transfer.

Virgil Van Dijk

Ever since signing for Liverpool from Southampton last season, Van Dijk has made himself the heart of the Red’s defence.

He has kept five clean sheets so far this season and he is one of the reasons Alisson has not conceded much this season.

His calmness makes it difficult for attackers to dribble past him.

Aymeric Laporte

Laporte is one of the only starters at Man City’s defence. He is a defender who is good both defensively and offensively.

He has kept five clean sheets and conceded just three goals and he also has a goal to his name.

Matt Doherty

I think Doherty who has been Wolves regular starter this season is the best right back in EPL so far this season.

The right back has really contributed to the success of Wolves this season registering two assists so far this season, he has kept four clean sheets and conceded  six goals, which I don’t think is that bad for a team like Wolves.

Andrew Robertson

Liverpool’s left back, Andrew Robertson has been outstanding so far this season, keeping five clean sheets and conceding just three goals.

Robertson has also helped Liverpool offensively this season, registering two assists so far.

Yeah, Jorginho the present king of passes in EPL made it to my XI. Jorginho gives Sarri’s team tempo, he fits into Sarri’s team perfectly as he controls the midfield.

He holds the record for most passes completed in an EPL match.

Raheem Sterling

Sterling has been on form this season, contributing to  six goals in seven matches so far this season.

He has established himself in the team since joining from Liverpool.

Eden Hazard

Hazard is presently at his best.

He tops the EPL goalscorer with seven goals in eight matches. He has also registered three assists so far this season.

He is currently the key man in Sarri’s team.

Sergio Aguero

Aguero, Manchester city’s hitman has contributed to seven goals so far this season, scoring five and assisting two.

Despite not been given full time opportunities by Pep Guardiola, Aguero still proves himself as a top striker.

Callum Wilson

Bournemouth’s Wilson has contributed offensively to Bournemouth’s attack this season.

He has had a hand in seven goals so far, scoring three and assisting four.

He has also won two penalties for the team so gar this season.

Alexandre Lacazette

Arsenal has never lost an EPL match this season whenever Lacazette starts, he as been a vital player in Unai Emery’s team. His pace and ability to hold the ball gives him edge over defenders.

He has scored four and assisted two so far this season.

Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has been the most outstanding manager this season. His team along side Unai Emery’s Arsenal remain the only team in EPL that has not dropped a point to a team outside the top six.

Liverpool has won six games and drawn two in eight games, dropping points against title rivals Chelsea and Manchester city.
