All Hope Not Lost For Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur who sits at the 6th position of the table with points levelled with Arsenal and Manchester united seemed to have had a bright start to the season after winning 3 of their 3 opening games which included a 3-0 win at old Trafford.

But they have seemed to be a shadow of themselves after failing to win a single game out of their last 3 matches in all competition which they lost 2-1 in each of these games.

Oyakhis blog look into their form this season.

Pochettino is the only PL manager without a new signing this season, but could this be the cause of their failures?

After defeating Manchester united 3-0 away from home, Spurs lost 2-1 to Watford as they could not hold up after halftime.

They also lost their last weekend’s game at home to in-form Liverpool before kicking off a bad start to their Champions league campaign against Serie A giants, Inter Milan who defeated them 2-1 at San Siro.

Looking at the team, their is not much depth, compared to Manchester city and Liverpool’s team and most of the players can hold up for too long as they have conceded in almost all of their games this season.

Their starting XI are in bad form and they have no one to come off the bench to change the game.

That’s a reason I really think they were very wrong not to make any signings and its now coming back to haunt them.

Although there’s still a lot of room for improvement as they face Brighton this weekend, Pochettino’s men would be hoping to revive their winning form and I strongly believe that there is still hope for them.

The club would need to hold up and revive themselves or else they lose the chance of winning a silverware this season and a chance to play European football next season.
